We’re on the map!

You may be familiar with our fabulous jewellery here at Flux Studios, but there is so much more to Vanguard Court; it’s abuzz with creative energy here in SE5!

Painting, Sculpture, Stained Glass, Ceramics, Jewellery, Contemporary Silverware, Wood, Mixed Media, New Media, Photography, Installation, Textiles..

We’ve been working hard to get the word out, and this month here at Vanguard court we have reason for a triple celebration.. As well as putting ourselves on the South London Art Map and website, we are pleased to present our first group show in the Vanguard Court Gallery Space, with the generous support of Vanguard Metropolitan. To coincide with these 2 events we have also launched the Vanguard Court Artists website which will keep you up to date with all future activities here …

The important date for your diary is Friday 25 February for a night of delight, and we go on into the weekend…… If you’re on the Flux mailing list, expect an invitation this week

‘The South London Art Map (SLAM) is a one-stop resource for the visual arts in South London from Bankside to Greenwich launching on the last Friday of February, 2011.  Ensure you never miss an exhibition or event, via a handy printed map available from art venues across London and to download from website (www.southlondonartmap.com) with an online calendar of exhibitions and magazine of highlights.  In addition local artists will lead South London Art Tours, to help you experience the best of the South London art scene.

LAUNCH:
‘The South London Art Map will be launched on Friday 25 February from 18.30 – 20.00 pm at the inaugural LAST FRIDAYS. 90 galleries throughout south London will be open until late.  To celebrate the launch of the South London Art Map, Tate Modern has commissioned South London based artist Hew Locke to create an artist product. A limited number of badges created by the artist will be available to the first 25 people who arrive at participating venues that evening.’and website aims to will Launch
