Course Details: Design and Make a Silver Ring – hollow box-form technique. C17. Learn how to make large, hollow pieces of jewellery from sheet metal. Design and make your own cocktail ring. By the end of this course you will know how to make large forms from sheet that are also light and wearable, and use a wide range of soldering techniques to create complex 3D forms. You will have designed and made a statement silver cocktail ring.

The course is presented in 3 projects that develop technical skills while also encouraging experimentation and design development.
- Project 1 – Make a hollow ring from sheet metal, using 2 contrasting metals
- Project 2 – Experimenting with forming techniques for 3D impact
- Project 3– Design and make a silver cocktail ring

Materials Fee: £15 to cover the cost of all non precious materials and consumables, payable on the first day of your course
