Cold Enamelling Jewellery Techniques: 10 Week Course (Morning, Tue).
– Explore methods to add colour to your designs using cold enamelling jewellery techniques. Experiment with a range of traditional techniques that can be applied using resin- based enamels, including champlevé, sgarfito and cloisonné. This course also runs on Tuesday evenings (course code B19).
- Project 1 – Experimentation – produce a range of test pieces that explore technique
- Project 2 – Design and make a matching set of jewellery using your preferred cold enamel technique
By the end of this course you will know how to:
Mix and apply cold enamels, using a range of traditional approaches to enameling
And you will have produced a reference / sample board of plates that explore the application of cold enamels, as well as 2 colourful, matching jewellery items that you have designed and made.
