Keum Boo for Jewellery: 2 Day Course (Sat-Sun).
Book Now
– This short, weekend jewellery making course introduces students to the art of keum boo: fusing fine gold foil (24ct) to a finished piece of sterling silver jewellery.
The ancient Korean technique of keum boo is both beautiful and cost effective, and over the 2-day workshop we will also highlight additional techniques that can be applied to further enhance the contrast of colour and texture to produce highly individual pieces of jewellery.
The course fee covers the cost of all materials for an initial project. Additional materials will be available for purchase if you wish to work on a larger or second piece of jewellery.
More advanced students may wish to bring along existing work that they would like to embellish using the keum boo technique. You may also bring your own precious materials to work with.
If you would like to have your work hallmarked with the Flux Studios hallmark this can also be arranged at cost price.
This fee includes materials for your first project, and refreshments will also be provided.
