A04. Intermediate and Advanced Jewellery Course
Start date: 15 September 2009 (for 12 weeks)
Study mode: Tuesday mornings, 3hrs per week Times: 10.15am – 1.15pm
Course costs: £165
Non-precious materials may be purchased for £5. Precious materials can be purchased through our usual supplier. This course is suitable for students with intermediate and advanced jewellery making skills. Students will be challenged to improve existing skills, also developing new skills by exploring new techniques.
Course details: The group focus for this term will be ‘Etching‘. As well as experimenting with more traditional stop-out techniques we will look at photo-etching as a means of transferring patterns or images onto metal.
Please note, I anticipate that more advanced students are likely to arrive with a personal project in mind; I am always happy to facilitate on an individual basis to support your personal requirements.
