DESCRIPTION:Fold Forming Jewellery and Keum Boo: 10 Week Course (Evening\, Tue).\nBook Now\n\n- On this 10 week course you will experiment with fold form jewellery and keum boo techniques. This will include scoring\, fold forming\, silversmithing\, and you will also learn how to apply Keum Boo to your silver work to add colour and contrast to your designs.\n\n\tProject 1 – Scoring and fold forming metal to create 3D forms from sheet\n\tProject 2 – Keum boo application\,\n\tProject 3 – Raising and forging techniques\n\nBy the end of this course you will know how to:\n\nShape metal to create complex 3D forms using a range of techniques\n\nApply foil to metal using the keum boo technique\n\nAnd you will have produced a reference / sample board of pieces that explore\n\nforming\, folding and metal foil application\n\nNote: this course is free flowing and experimental in nature and students are encouraged to explore ways to exploit and further extend processes.  Students may choose to focus on their favourite process or experiment with all of them\, and it is anticipated that every student will have a unique set of outcomes.\n\nThese folding and colouring techniques may be used to explore new ways of working\, but students may also choose to continue to work on individual projects not relating to fold forming\, raising and forging or keum boo.\n\nCourse Dates: Tuesday 21 April to Tuesday 7 July 2015\n\nClass Times: Tue eves\, 6-9pm for 10 weeks\n\n(Half Term Break – no class - Tue 26 May)\n\nCourse Fee:\n\nFull fee £220\n\nConcessions £195\n\nMaterials kit : £15\n\nCourse code: B21\nBook Now
