DESCRIPTION:Design and Make a Silver Ring: 10 Week Course (Evening\, Wed).\nBook Now\n- Make a silver ring and learn the foundation skills in jewellery making through a series of set projects that encourage you to experiment with texturing and shaping metal. Use these experiences to design and make your very own silver ring. The course is presented in 3 projects that develop technical skills while also encouraging experimentation and design development.\n\n\tProject 1 – Experimental approaches to texturing and pattern making on metal\n\tProject 2 - Experimental approaches to forming and shaping metal\n\tProject 3 – Design and make your ring in silver\n\nBy the end of this course you will know how to cut\, file and polish metals like copper and silver\, texture metal using pressing and punching techniques\, hammer and punch sheet into 3d form\, permanently join 2 or more elements together using traditional silver soldering techniques\, forge wires into unusual and unique forms.
