Design Philosophy
My work comprises brooches, necklaces and rings mainly made out of enamelled copper and silver. I like using copper to form the basic structure that then is enamelled in a process of continuous experimentation combining and fusing other materials into the glass, to create each time a unique and intriguing texture and colour. The interaction between metal, enamel and fire fascinates me as the materials themselves lose their identities and transform to something else, almost organic.
