Design and Make a Sterling Silver Ring. SW07. You’ll be walking home with the most precious ring on your finger at the end of this exciting weekend! Experiment with hammering techniques; learn how to size a ring, cut intricate patterns. You will explore a range of approaches to texturing, shaping and forming metal, completing several experimental rings in gilding metal, before working in sterling silver to produce your final design.

Techniques include: texturing of metals; ring sizing; drilling, piercing and filing metal; silver soldering; forming; forging; polishing.
The course fee: Covers the cost of non-precious materials, and you will also be provided with silver to make your ring. If you would like to have your ring hallmarked with the Flux Studios hallmark this can also be arranged . Refreshments and a light lunch will also be provided. More info will be sent at the time of booking your place.
